THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT EXTENSION TO INCLUDE A NEW TASK ORDER, AND IS NOT INTENDED TO BE A SOLICITATION. All interested parties may submit inquiries to the Contract Specialist, Marlene Betler at Marlene.Betler@dhs.gov by COB December 20, 2007.

The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of the Transportation Security Administration?s intent to award a single source contract extension to Integrated Biometric Technology (IBT). Further, it is the Government?s intent to issue a task order off of this contract extension. This bridge contract award will provide continuous, uninterrupted service to securely collect and transmit biographic and biometric data on individuals applying for a Hazmat Material Endorsement (HME) and will allow the Government sufficient time to identify a procurement plan for the future requirement.

This contract extension and task order will provide an additional twelve (12) months of service to the Hazardous Materials Threat Assessment Program (HTAP) beginning February 1, 2008 through January 31, 2009.
