E. Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, Texas providing for,
authorizing, and approving the expenditure of funds for the purchase of two
TouchPrint TM 3800 Booking Stations from Identix, Inc., which is available from
only one source in accordance with the pertinent provisions of Chapter 252 of the
Texas Local Government Code exempting such purchases from the requirements
of competitive bidding; and providing an effective date (File 3860–Booking
Stations for Police Department in the amount of $83,086).
